An unidentified young man has been caught red-handed by the Police and the car stand owner named Joyce Autos Car Shop located opposite Urhobo College In Warri, Delta State.
The alleged thief came a day before to bargain with the owner of the car stand but couldn’t make any payments for the said car but later returned the next day and lied to the workers there that he had made payment the previous day (the sum of N70 Million ). The disturbing part was that they believed him and gave him a receipt for the car.
He ran out of luck when the owner of the car stand noticed the car driving out without her approval and rushed in and asked the security personnel at the gate to lock the exit gate. It was at this point that the police were invited and investigations revealed he used Juju to convince the sales department of the shop that he made payment earlier.
He has been arrested and will be prosecuted according to the Divisional police headquarters in Warri.
